LDPE Film & Bags for Industrial Packaging
LDPE produces a softer, more flexible film and is widely used for sheets, liners, bags, and packaging applications requiring a more pliable feel.

What Is LDPE?
LDPE, or low-density polyethylene, is widely used in blown film because it produces a soft, flexible film that can conform well around products. This makes it suitable for many packaging and lining applications where pliability is important.
In blown film, final performance is not determined by polymer name alone. Resin grade, formulation, film thickness, processing conditions, additives, bag design, sealing, and actual handling all affect performance. Specifications should therefore be selected around the application rather than material price alone.
LDPE Film & Packaging Applications

Where Is LDPE Commonly Suitable?
Sheets & Liners
For lining and separator applications that benefit from flexible film.
Industrial Bags
For a wide range of products that require a softer and easier-to-form film.
Protective Packaging
For wrapping and protection where better conformability is useful.

Packaging FilmProduction Inspection & Quality Control
A suitable film specification should be supported by checks for thickness consistency, dimensions, film appearance, and sealing quality according to the application.

Material Selection Considerations
Consider LDPE when softness, flexibility, and conformability are priorities.
For applications with high puncture risk or more demanding mechanical performance, LDPE may require a higher thickness or a blend with materials such as LLDPE depending on the requirement.
